This is one of my favourite song,and i like this song so much that i always hear this song before going to the bed.
but some lines are not well translated and are missed like…..

If I know my urdu, the word is ‘Qazaa’ meaning Maut or death.
And the verse about eyes says ‘Surma-gi(n), Surma-gin’ not surmayee. Surmagin(n) means Eyes filled with Surma (it’s black liquid like kajal that further beautifies eyes)

“Nargisi” might mean ‘like narcissus’. Just imagine, ‘her eyes are so beautiful, that they don’t need to care about anything else in the world. They are just self obsessed’. This might as well be true given that women rarely make eye contact, their eyes keep wandering away. And the song also says, “Aankhein kahoon, ya kahoon khwab hai..”. It might just mean ‘dreamy eyes’. They never fall on you even though your eyes can only see them.
